Save Our Heritage: Support Uttarakhand’s Gaurakshaks

In the scenic villages of Uttarakhand, many families are being forced to leave their homes in search of livelihood elsewhere. This migration threatens not only the people but also our rich traditions, cultural practices, and deep connection with nature. Among these traditions, caring for cows has been a way of life – a relationship built on respect, sustainability, and spirituality.

However, today, the dedicated Gaurakshaks (cow protectors) are struggling. With limited resources, they face daily challenges in providing fodder, shelter, and medical care to the cows. Without support, this cherished tradition, which helps maintain ecological balance and rural livelihoods, is at risk.

Kind Karma Foundation is stepping forward to support these brave individuals by providing essential resources and helping them continue their meaningful work. We invite you to be part of this journey to preserve culture, protect animals, and empower communities.
