Ekadashi Compassion Drive: Food, Care & Treatment for Helpless Vanars

Ekadashi is known as a sacred day of devotion, kindness, and selfless giving. On this spiritually meaningful day, many people observe prayers, fasting, and acts of charity to bring peace to their hearts and blessings to their lives. But true devotion becomes even more powerful when it turns into compassion for helpless living beings. With this thought, Kindkarma Foundation has started the Ekadashi Vanar Seva and Treatment Campaign to provide food, medical support, and care to hungry, injured, and neglected vanars.

Why Vanar Seva on Ekadashi Matters

Vanars are often seen near temples, roadsides, forests, and public places searching for food and water. Many of them survive on leftover food or go hungry for long hours. Some are injured due to road accidents, fights, electric wires, sharp objects, or lack of timely treatment. While people may notice them for a moment, their suffering is often ignored. Ekadashi gives us a special opportunity to pause, feel their pain, and offer support with a pure heart.

In Sanatan tradition, feeding living beings is considered a noble act of seva. When we feed those who cannot ask for help in words, we perform an act of silent kindness. Vanar Seva is not only about offering food; it is about protecting life, reducing pain, and spreading compassion in society.

Kindkarma Foundation’s Effort for Hungry and Injured Vanars

Through this campaign, Kindkarma Foundation works to support vanars who are struggling for basic survival. The campaign focuses on providing fresh fruits, nutritious food, clean water, and necessary care to vanars in need. Along with feeding, special attention is also given to injured and weak vanars who require treatment, medicine, and safe recovery support.

Many vanars suffer quietly because there is no one to take responsibility for their pain. A small wound can become serious if left untreated. Lack of food can make young, old, and weak vanars more vulnerable. Your support can help arrange food distribution, basic medical aid, rescue assistance, and treatment support for these innocent beings.

Your Donation Can Become Their Lifeline

A simple act of donation on Ekadashi can bring relief to many hungry and injured vanars. Your contribution may help provide bananas, fruits, grains, water, medicines, wound care, and emergency support. What may seem like a small amount to us can become a full meal, timely treatment, or a moment of comfort for a helpless vanar.

This campaign is a humble request to all kind-hearted people to come forward and support Vanar Seva. When we give with compassion, we create a chain of kindness. Every donation, big or small, carries the power to save, heal, and nourish.
