In the narrow lanes of Varanasi’s urban slums, countless pregnant women face each day without access to proper nutrition or medical care. For them, bringing a child into the world is not only a sacred journey — it’s a daily struggle for survival.

Ashmita Foundation, with generous support from Charanvandan, has launched a life-changing initiative:
The Pregnant Women Nutritional Meal Program & Medicine Kit Distribution – a dedicated effort to ensure underprivileged expecting mothers receive the nourishment and medical support they desperately need.

Our Mission

To safeguard the health of vulnerable mothers and their unborn children through:

Daily Nutritional Meals – Prepared with essential vitamins, iron, and proteins to combat maternal malnutrition.
Prenatal Medicine Kits – Including iron, calcium, folic acid tablets, and hygiene supplies tailored for pregnant women.
Awareness & Counseling Sessions – Focused on maternal health, hygiene, and postnatal care to empower women with knowledge and confidence.
